In 1976, two brothers from Punjab, high on their entrepreneurial spirit ventured into the world of Cast Iron Pipe Fitting and quickly established themselves in the market as HB. Soon after, they achieved the ISI Mark, underlining their presence firmly. HB group spent the next two decades growing steadily. Focusing on expanding their range, best quality practice and excellence in customer service. They went on to become the domestic leaders in this field.
 
1998 was the year that market demand reached an all-time high, and resulted in a new production unit, M/s Maingi Brothers being installed. This year also saw the launch of NB Brand ISI Marked Pipe Fittings in the Medium weight Market Section.
 
2000 was a momentous year where we at HB group were the first in India to achieve the international accreditation of ISO 9002:1994 in Heavy Pipe Fittings. Adapting to the market trends and responding to the demand of our buyers from North India, in 2002, HB Group introduced Extra Heavy Pipe Fitting products under the brand HBI.
 
Continued growth and expansion took us smoothly upwards to 2007, and this was the year we successfully entered into the market of Valves and Cocks. The new production unit M/s HB Metals was designed and implemented to deliver best quality Valves & Cocks. It continues to grow and gain more popularity in the market every year.
 
The story of success and growth saw the need for a further production unit. The ultra-modern HB INDUSTRIES UNIT II was installed in 2009 with the goal to meet the growing demand from our markets. In the Valves Segment, production with perfected Valve designs in Brass and Stainless Steel were introduced to the domestic market & they were received with much acclaim. Product range further increased by 2011 when we introduced Cast Iron Valves into this market segment.
 
By 2011 the world by large was a different place compared to 1976. HB Group prides itself in keeping up with the market trends and demands, always knowing the customers’ needs as they grow and require more with the fast altering world. The year 2011 saw the introduction of CPVC and UPVC Pipe Fittings. This exciting change in material opened up whole new horizons that we were keen to follow.

We are also diversifying into the world of Automobile Casting Components, keeping our much keenly followed work ethic of quality, excellence in practice and superb customer service we hope to learn and grow in this competitive and exciting world.
